Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase blasted “Turncoat Tim” Anderson and the weak GOP establishment in comments she made to National File, after Anderson, a Virginia GOP Delegate, blamed her, President Trump, and even the unborn, for certain midterm losses in Virginia.
Tim Anderson, a Virginia GOP Delegate in the state’s legislature, went after President Trump and America First conservatives, like Senator Amanda Chase by name, in a WRVA interview after the midterm elections. Chase says that the comments were equivalent to “political suicide.”
As part of the anti-MAGA WRVA interview, Anderson announced on the radio that he was pulling his 2023 endorsement of Chase’s re-election campaign, and even said that she needs to be quiet about defending unborn babies in the womb.
Chase’s defense of the unborn, Anderson claimed, cost GOP nominee Yesli Vega her election to Democrat Abigail Spanberger in the 7th District – a district that was plagued in 2022, just like it was in 2020, with serious vote-counting irregularities, in favor of the Democrat.

President Trump, Anderson claimed, isn’t all that popular in Virginia, and the GOP Delegate who gave groomers a major boost when he filed a doomed library book lawsuit in Virginia Beach, says he’s getting a “divorce” from the 45th President. Virginians, Anderson claimed, like more “moderate” Republicans like Glenn Youngkin.

Anderson’s attacks were part of a larger trend among the GOP establishment, including Virginia Lt. Governor Winsome Sears, scapegoating President Trump and MAGA for GOP midterm failures and calling on Republicans to support DeSantis and Youngkin for President.
Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase was having none of it, though, and spoke first-hand with National File following Anderson’s radio attacks against her, President Trump, and the unborn.
Chase, who’s been nicknamed “Trump in Heels” by the America First movement, has a national following and has been at the forefront of the election integrity, 2A, and pro-life movements.
“Tim Anderson basically just lost his race. He lost every single Trump supporter, Amanda Chase supporter, that’s in Virginia,” Senator Chase told National File.
“I texted him that he’s officially gone to the dark side, good luck with that,” Senator Chase told National File.
Anderson’s comments are part of a wider GOP establishment plan to “Criticize, and ostracize America First conservatives, right along with President Trump,” Senator Chase told National File.
“Tim Anderson has ridden my coattails, he’s ridden President Trump’s coattails, and now he’s riding Winsome Sears coat tails. That’s all this is. He’s turning on me, he’s turning on President Trump because Winsome did it, and because he thinks this is how he will stay relevant in Glenn Youngkin’s political circle.”
“He’s toast to the pro-life community that supports life at conception,” she added, thanks to Anderson’s comments claiming that Republicans should just be quiet about abortion.
“We don’t support killing babies,” Chase said. “We just passed legislation for the humane treatment of beagles and it got bipartisan support. I think it’s time for the humane treatment of babies.”
“This is really unfortunate and really ridiculous,” Chase told National File of Anderson’s comments, nicknaming him “Turncoat Tim.”
“President Trump has not even announced that he’s running yet and I think Tim Anderson is way over his skis. What he’s doing is very divisive. To say, ‘I’m going to divorce Trump.’”
“I’m with the people,” Chase said, explaining her support for both the MAGA movement and the pro-life movement before blowing the whistle on the GOP establishment and their own election malpractice, which has allowed them to seize control of GOP nominating processes.
“I ran for Governor in Virginia and I have a lot of support across the country. And so does President Trump,” Senator Chase said.
“What Anderson miscalculates in the Governor’s race is that not everybody got to vote. In fact, most of the Trump voters were disenfranchised because the GOP implemented a ranked-choice convention. They’re furious because they didn’t even get to vote.”
“Tim Anderson stated that Youngkin is the model to go from. You have to understand, that was a ranked-choice convention, not a primary. That wasn’t a referendum on Trump. That’s not remembering what happened and how Governor Youngkin won. He came in and he bought the convention.”
“I appreciate his policies. For the most part, I like the direction he’s going in,” Chase went on to say of Youngkin’s time in office.
“I wish he’d be stronger. But that’s the truth. He bought the election. He had the most money and was able to pay people to go door to door to sign them up for this ranked choice convention. He was the only one that had the resources to do that, other than the other billionaire in the race, Pete Snyder.”

Youngkin has been frequently mentioned as a Trump “alternative” in 2024, meeting with GOP megadonors in New York City and paling around with the likes of Paul Ryan.
Thus far, he’s refused to provide National File, and multiple other outlets, with a straight answer on his presidential ambitions, but those within the GOP establishment have.
