President Trump is very angry with his son’s “annoying” girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, for working for RINO Missouri Senate candidate Eric Greitens, Politico claims.
The claims, from Politico’s weekly “Playbook” newsletter, originate from aides close to President Trump, according to the site. The unnamed aides allegedly told Playbook that Trump has been “openly griping” about the fact that Guilfoyle, his son’s girlfriend, has joined the Senate campaign of former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens as the national chair.
“Trump thinks Greitens is problematic, and that [Guilfoyle] is annoying,” one advisor to the President allegedly said. “He said, ‘why the f**k is she working for him?'” Another advisor allegedly said that Trump would not want to endorse Greitens if the primary for the Senate happened today, due to the numerous scandals during his tenure as Missouri Governor, including the one that forced him to resign, which involved a St Louis hairdresser who alleged he tied her up, sexually assaulted and blackmailed her due to an affair they were having together.
President Trump was seemingly concerned that Guilfoyle being attached to Greitens’s campaign would make it look like he, or his son, Donald Jr, were implicitly endorsing him. Another potential rankle Trump has with Greitens is that he has strong ties to former Vice President Mike Pence, with his former chief of staff Nick Ayers having run Greitens’s gubernatorial campaign, one advisor noted. In a text message to Politico, Guilfoyle completely denied that she and Trump were at odds.
Many of the other candidates to replace Senator Roy Blunt, including Representative Billy Long, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, and famed gun-toting lawyer Mark McCloskey, are all pitching themselves to President Trump, seeking his approval instead of Greitens. National File detailed last month that Greitens, who is portraying himself as a pro-Trump, America First conservative, is nothing of the sort, with links to serious globalists including George Soros and Big Tech interests:
White House records from the Obama administration show that Greitens, who later described Obama as being “the worst president of [his] lifetime”, had made multiple visits to the Oval Office, ingratiating himself with the Democrat administration under the veil of promoting his “The Mission Continues” nonprofit. During this time, Greitens served on the Board of Directors of the Franklin Project, an operation run by the Aspen Institute, a decades-old organization that receives serious funding from both George Soros’s Open Society Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
A number of serious globalist interests joined Greitens on the Board of Directors, including Barbara Bush, Ariana Huffington, Chelsea Clinton and many other officials linked to the Clinton and Obama administrations… Unsurprisingly, the Franklin Project was not the only globalist group that Greitens was involved with prior to his governorship. In 2013, he was honored as a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum, and served as an advisory board member to the New York charity Robin Hood, an organization that was supposedly designed to combat poverty in NYC, funded once again by George Soros.
