Federal Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart granted Joe Biden’s DOJ request to place a gag order on President Trump. Judge Reinhart issued the ruling on June 19th. In 2021, Joe Biden issued a proclamation declaring June 19th a federal holiday, closing all federal buildings, including post offices. The fact that Democrats are working on a federal holiday shows their urgency to jail Trump before the election.
Reinhart’s order states that 45th President and leading 2024 candidate Donald Trump cannot share exculpatory evidence on social media without the Court’s prior approval.
The Stalin-like order reads, “All non-classified discovery produced by the United States to the Defendants in preparation for, or in connection with, any stage of this case (collectively, “the Discovery Materials”) are subject to this protective order (“the Order”) and may be used by the Defendants and Defense Counsel (defined as counsel of record in this case) solely in connection with the defense of this case, and for no other purpose, and in connection with no other proceeding, without further order of this Court.”
The order then specifically mentions Trump’s social media, stating that “The Discovery Materials, along with any information derived therefrom, shall not be disclosed to the public or the news media, or disseminated on any news or social media platform, without prior notice to and consent of the United States or approval of the Court. 7. Use of Discovery Material in Court.”
Judge Reinhart issued this order on June 19th, a federal holiday, meaning Judge Reinhart and his staff either received holiday pay or worked for free to issue Monday’s ruling.
Biden’s federal courts issuing rulings on June 19th while American citizens cannot access essential federal government services on June 19th, such as mail via the USPS, is yet another example of the Democrats’ embrace of ‘rules for thee, but not for me.’
