An interaction in the White House between Democrat President Joe Biden and the family of slain Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum ended with all but one of the family members walking out on a planned meeting with the “scripted and shallow” Biden, because “You can’t f— up as bad as he did and say you’re sorry.”
The story was buried within the paragraph of a Washington Post article published on Sunday, “some family members of the dead service members remained angry with [Biden], including the family of Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum, one of the 13 Americans who died last week. According to the article, McCollum’s sister Roice stated that “when it came time to meet with the president, they left the room, because she said they did not want to speak with the man they held responsible for McCollum’s death.”
A Biden meeting w/ the pregnant widow of one of the dead Marines didn't go well

The only member of the McCollum family who stayed to talk to Biden was Jiennah, Rylee’s wife who is expecting a son next month. According to the post, she was left “disappointed” by Biden’s “scripted and shallow” monologue about how his son Beau served in the military and died of cancer. Biden has invoked his dead son’s death and military service countless times over the years when speaking to the public.
Biden’s brief and pre-rehearsed conversation was described as showing complete “total disregard to the loss of our Marine” according to Roice, who added, “You can’t f**k up as bad as he did and say you’re sorry. This did not need to happen, and every life is on his hands.”
Rylee’s mother Kathy McCollum had previously described Biden as a “feckless, dementia-ridden piece of crap” and stated that “I just want all you Democrats who cheated in the election or who voted for him legitimately, you just killed my son.”
