The man tested positive for Covid-19 post-mortem, prompting officials to disinfect the carriage and urge fellow travelers who may have come into contact with the man to self-isolate for 14 days.

Sahoh spat at a man in front of him outside of the Bang Sue station’s ticket box, even though, according to the footage, Sahoh was dependent on a crutch to move about.

Local authorities are desperately attempting to reach the spitting victim as he may be infected with the coronavirus.

A State Railway of Thailand spokesman said: “We are now worried about a man that was spat at in the security camera footage.
