Just two days before the 2020 General Election, Democrat vice presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), posted a campaign video that explained the difference between “equity” and “equality” and setting the stage for a soft-sell pitch to the American people on Marxism.
In the 50-secnd video posted to Twitter and left uncensored by the Twitter fact-checking team, Harris talks about “equitable treatment” meaning that everyone but the elite class ending up in the same station in life.
“So, there’s a big difference between equality and equity,” Harris said in her Twitter post Sunday. Harris analogized that two individuals who were about to climb a mountain were given equal amounts of rope but that one man – a Black man – was unable to reach the rope. In the video he stood several feet lower than the other man, a White man.
“Equality suggests ‘Oh everyone should get the same amount.’ The problem with that, not everybody’s starting out from the same place. So, if we’re all getting the same amount, but you started out back there and I started out over here – we could get the same amount, but you’re still going to be that far back behind me,” her video stated.
“It’s about giving people the resources and the support they need so that everyone can be on equal footing and then compete on equal footing,” she continued. “Equitable treatment means we all end up at the same place.”

This analogy immediately elicited condemnation as it is a soft sell of Marxism.
“Equity through government force inevitably puts one group at a disadvantage to another to social engineer outcomes. That’s not fair or equitable,” one alert detractor remarked.

Harris, has been ranked as the most left-wing Senator in the current chamber by GovTracks. In 2019, she raised eyebrows with her radical racial views, and her advocacy of the Green New Deal and support for Medicare for All. Only after being chosen for the Biden ticket did she soften her rhetoric.
The video Harris posted Sunday soft peddling Marxism to the American people represents a return to his ultra-radical Leftist mind set.
