VIDEO: Biden Mistakenly Names 'Meteor' As Kennedy Center Honoree, Stammers Through Rest Of Speech

Democrat President Joe Biden committed one of his trademark verbal blunders during a speech at the Kennedy Center Honorees Reception on Sunday, naming “meteor” as one of the honorees from last year’s reception after failing to remember the last person’s name.

“In the spring, Jill and I had the pleasure of hosting last year’s honorees Joan Baez, Garth Brooks, Dick Van Dyke, Debbie Allen, meteor – I think I left somebody out,” Biden said, holding up his hand as if struggling to collect his thoughts.

“But at any rate. I apologize if I did, uh and uh, uh, um, uh, excuse me,” Biden continued. “Midori is who I left out.”

The incident received no media coverage from the corporate media, which often shies away from covering the bizarre statements made by Biden during his relatively infrequent public appearances.

Biden recently revealed that he had caught a cold from his one-and-a-half year old grandson because the child “likes to kiss his pop”:

One of the reporters pointed out to Biden that his voice was sounding “a little different,” and asked him if he was okay, to which Biden replied in the affirmative, adding that he takes a COVID test to check he is negative for “all the strains” every day.

“What I have is a 1 and a half year old grandson who had a cold who likes to kiss his pop, and he’d been kissing my…” Biden said, trailing off at a rather strange moment. “Anyway, so uh, it’s just a cold,” he added.
