In his latest in a long string of gaffes, former vice president Joe Biden seemed to forget the name of his previous boss, President Barack Obama, and referred to him as “the last guy.”
While on the campaign trail, Biden apparently forgot the name of President Obama while launching into a speech about Democrats being on the “road to Damascus.”
“They’re gonna be on the conversion of the road to Damascus,” said Biden. “Because now you say, ‘by the way, are you going stick with the president on the following, the president O- the last guy, on this issue?’ And just start naming them, whatever it is.”
Biden apparently seeks to use President “the last guy” as a barometer to test Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Democrats on the issues, and will question whether they side with “the last guy” or not.

This is only the latest in a long string of gaffes, the list of which is too numerous for one news outlet to cover. National File has still tried its best to catalogue the many Biden gaffes whenever possible.
On Monday, Biden seemingly forgot the word “Creator” and referred to God as “The Thing,” though is is unclear if he was referring to the eponymous 1982 movie:
In a rally held on Monday afternoon, Biden stammered and appeared to lose his train of thought while attempting to quote the Declaration of Independence.
“We hold these truths to be self evident,” Biden started strongly, “All men and women created by the, go, you know, you know the thing.”
What Biden apparently meant to quote was, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Last month, after being questioned by a persistent reporter, Biden recoiled and began yelling “WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY” into the man’s face:
Biden slowly turned towards the reporter, who repeated, “Why attack Sanders?”
Biden started waving his hands and lunged forward, bellowing, “Why why why why why why why!”
“You’re getting nervous, man! Calm down, it’s okay,” Biden snapped. “He apologized for saying that I was corrupt. He didn’t say anything about whether or not I was telling the truth about Social Security.”
Biden then shoved the reporter in the chest with a closed fist and stormed away.
While it is difficult to be certain whether it was a gaffe or an accidental admission, Biden also promised to raise the taxes of anyone who paid less due to President Donald Trump’s tax cuts.
