Billionaire financier George Soros made some choice remarks over the current COVID-19 global pandemic–with several countries still in total lockdown–in an interview last month.
According to the Daily Sabah, speaking at Project Syndicate on May 11, Soros said, “Even before the pandemic hit, I realized that we were in a revolutionary moment where what would be impossible or even inconceivable in normal times had become not only possible, but probably absolutely necessary.”
He added: “the COVID-19, which has totally disrupted people’s lives and required very different behavior. It is an unprecedented event that probably has never occurred in this combination. And it really endangers the survival of our civilization.”
The Hungarian-born globalist elite went onto attack how Western countries were woefully ill-prepared for the pandemic of such proportions, stating that the European Union remains “exceptionally vulnerable, more vulnerable than the U.S. not just because it is an incomplete union but also because it is based on the rule of law.”
Market Watch reported that Soros continued: “We will not go back to where we were when the pandemic started. That is pretty certain. But that is the only thing that is certain. Everything else is up for grabs. I do not think anybody knows how capitalism will evolve.”
Now, as George Floyd riots across America stole the limelight from the coronavirus, many have taken to Twitter to denounce Soros as one of the financial architects behind the bulk of the disturbances across the U.S.
It was revealed by the Anti Defamation League that Soros received around half a million negative a day, as his political and philanthropic activities almost exclusively benefit progressives.
The ADL notes:
As protests – still largely peaceful, but increasingly marked by violent confrontations, looting and vandalism — continue in response to the murder of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis, right-wing pundits and an ideologically diverse crew of conspiracy theorists have alleged that George Soros has played a role in fomenting the chaos.
Aggressive language towards Soros has exploded on social media sites like Twitter, where a sample assessment showed that negative tweets about Soros rose from 20,000 per day on May 26 to more than 500,000 per day on May 30.
The vast majority of these tweets allege that Soros is paying protestors to riot, and that he funds antifa. A smaller number claim that he plans to radicalize African Americans in order to undermine society and enable the globalist takeover of America, while some go so far as to claim that George Floyd’s death was actually a false flag deployed by Soros in order to precipitate the current crisis.
The billionaire has been under the microscope in many pro-populist countries across central and eastern Europe, and beyond.
National File reported on the UK Government’s intention to investigate Soros’ anti-Brexit activity.

Conservative Party early last month into liberal billionaire philanthropist, George Soros, after it was revealed that he had funneled around $4M into anti-Brexit causes in the UK.
The Conservative Party have called for an urgent Electoral Commission probe into George Soros’s American Open Society Foundation after putting money towards a campaign to block Brexit at the ballot box, according to The Daily Mail.
The Open Society Foundation remitted funds to the pro-EU ‘Best for Britain’ group, routed via a London third party, in order to circumvent a ban on foreign donations to political organizations in the UK with the goal to effect political change.
Best for Britain (BfB) had designed a website with the intention to thwart the Prime Minister’s chances of a majority in last week’s General Election.
In the past two years, BfB has received around $4M from The Open Society Foundation which was confirmed in the accounts of the anti-Brexit organization.
BfB also shared a Westminster office building with other notorious anti-Brexit organizations including Open Britain and the European Movement.
The ADL has recently denounced what much have called the “Boogaloo” as some believe tensions are inexorably–and irreversibly–rising across America, allocating the term as part of their hate lexicon.
