Almost 20,000 donors came together on Go Fund Me to chip in nearly $600,000 for a firefighter whose sports bar was destroyed in the Minneapolis riots earlier this week.
The Minneapolis firefighter, KB Balla, was reduced to tears when his sports bar was ruined by rioters before its grand opening.
Scores Sports Bar had its opening postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic after Balla had invested the bulk of his life savings to open his dream business.
However, since a teary Balla on film went viral on social media, strangers decided to come to the assistance of the distraught man.
Since starting the crowdfunding page, thousands of strangers have pitched in $593,383 at the time of writing this article.

About the Bar Owners: Kb Balla & his wife Twyana are active members of their community. KB is a Firefighter on the Brooklyn Center Fire Department and Twyana was a member of the Sounds of Blackness. They have a 4 beautiful children and the toll of this entire situation is heavy. KB has been a community entrepreneur for decades and coaches and contributes to the community in which they live.
