With Democrat Beto O’Rourke reportedly mulling a run for Governor of Texas in 2022, supporters of one popular conservative candidate are taking the opportunity to ruthlessly mock him.
Beto22.com currently directs to Prather22.com, the campaign website for Texas Republican gubernatorial candidate Chad Prather. Prather, a cowboy musician and storyteller with a loyal following on the right, is challenging Governor Greg Abbott in the Republican primary, charging that Abbott fails the people of Texas. Abbott infamously locked down the state of Texas and mandated masks, which represents a stain on the history of the proud red state.
In a Quinnipiac poll, Abbott has 46 percent of people in Texas saying he deserves another term. Abbott has been pushed to the right by conservative opposition from Prather and others, with Abbott now musing aloud about privately building a southern border wall or arresting illegal migrants and charging them with state crimes.
Beto O’Rourke, meanwhile, a failed Senate candidate who wrote weird fiction about murdering kids.
