Kevin McCarthy is using the deteriorating situation in the Middle East as a backdrop to regain power. McCarthy and his allies fail to mention that McCarthy could have impeached Biden over the failed Afghanistan withdrawal and the $6 billion dollars given to Iran. Instead, McCarthy chose to give Biden a pass. Now, the globalist warmongers may have had their wish for World War 3 granted. The process for selecting the next speaker is expected to begin on Tuesday.
McCarthy was on Fox News Monday, giving a speech as if he was still Speaker of the House. McCarthy cited the failed Afghanistan withdrawal and Biden’s 6 billion dollar payment to Iran as reasoning for the horrific war unfolding in the Middle East.
It is interesting McCarthy chose these reasons, considering he could have impeached Biden for Afganistan and the 6 billion dollar Iranian payment. McCarthy’s failure to hold Biden accountable puts the fault on the former speaker just as much as Biden.

The facts didn’t deter McCarthy’s allies from shamelessly lying to America on social media. Andrew McCarthy wrote, “Hey@SteveScalise and @Jim_Jordan, how bout we not be a clown show when the world is exploding? Either jointly endorse @SpeakerMcCarthy and dare the 8 dingbats to oppose, or figure out which of you gets it and the other endorse. Time to be grownups.”
McCarthy didn’t hold Biden accountable for giving Iran $6 billion. Andy, you need to grow up.

Another fact McCarthy’s allies fail to mention is that polling has shown removing McCarthy was incredibly popular with GOP voters. Matt Gaetz commented, “This is how one Republican member of Congress reacted to the news that removing McCarthy is the most popular thing the House has actually accomplished this term.”

The Speaker’s race is expected to kick off on Tuesday. It is unknown how long the process will last or when a vote will be held.
