Politicians clamor for regulation of vapes but allow illegal immigration to proceed unchecked.
Liberal lawmakers warn vaping is a health hazard attributed to lung diseases, teen vaping rates are on the rise and urgently approved a federal ban on flavored e-cigarettes, that would make the vast majority of nicotine and vaping products illegal.
Yet, the same legislators that have launched a war on nicotine products are demanding open borders and vehemently oppose construction of President Trump’s wall, precisely because it would stop the invasion of drugs and criminals from flooding into our country.
Approximately 42 people have died as a result of vaping-related illness across 24 states as of Nov. 13, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

These fatalities overwhelmingly, and perhaps entirely, involve vaping of cannabis extracts and Vitamin E in the compounds, typically purchased on the black market.
Thus far, there is no evidence that legal nicotine e-cigarettes, which have been used by millions of Americans for years without causing acute respiratory reactions, have caused any of these injuries or deaths.
Meanwhile, 1,549 illegal aliens were convicted for killing Americans in 2019, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement annual Enforcement and Removal Operations Report.
Similarly, in 2018, illegal border-crossers, visa overstayers and deportation fugitives were responsible for 1,641 homicides.
In addition to taking the thousands of American lives in 2019, 47,453 foreign nationals were convicted on dangerous drugs charges, 26, 156 were convicted for assault, 7,757 illegals were convicted on burglary charges, 4,658 on sex offense, 3,407 for sexual assault, 1,110 for kidnapping.
American citizens are more likely to be killed an illegal immigrant than by vaping.
While open border Democrats and sanctuary city proponents manufacture hysteria over vaping, they are eager they provide no sanctuary for the American citizen victims of illegal alien criminals.
For the most blaring example of faux-leftist e-cigarette outrage, look no further than Democrat-run New York City.
Earlier this month, New York Mayor Bill De Blasio signed a bill prohibiting the sale of flavored vaping products across five boroughs, warning the legislation was imminently needed to “protect the health of all New Yorkers, especially our children.”

Yet, New York City is a sanctuary city which prohibits local law enforcement personnel from cooperating with requests from Immigration and Custom Enforcement to hold illegal aliens in police custody for possible deportation.
New York City law enforcement has declined to honor more than 1,300 detainer requests from ICE on illegal aliens charged with serious felonies, according to a recent report by the Immigration Reform Law Institute.
In December, New York joined thirteen other states and the District of Columbia in permitting illegal aliens drivers licenses.
