Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was recorded at CPAC pantomiming prayer in a fake jail cell with alleged J6 snitch and gay former Democrat Brandon Straka. Straka, who was sentenced to house arrest after pleading guilty to charges stemming from the January 6th demonstrations, has been named as a federal collaborator in unsealed court documents.
Video footage taken at CPAC is making its rounds online and shows “#WalkAway” founder Brandon Straka, who says he’s a former Democrat turned Trump supporter, wearing an orange jumpsuit and a “Make America Great Again” hat inside a fake jail cell. Straka says the bizarre form of “performance art” was meant to draw attention to the plight of January 6th prisoners still languishing away in federal custody but others have been quick to point out that Straka himself has played a role in putting them there, according to court documents.
At one point during Straka’s performance, Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, known to many as MTG, joined him in his fake jail cell before appearing to go into prayer. All the while, Straka stayed in character, even feigning tears. Behind him, a chalkboard showed a tally of the mock days Straka has served in his own mock jail, along with writing that read “I was a person once.”
As the performance went on, some passersby even tossed money into Straka’s fake jail cell.

While he was once hailed by many within the GOP as a diverse and inspiring figure, he was recently exposed as a January 6th snitch in unsealed court documents – throwing his entire “walk away” schtick into question.

Straka helped play a key role in drumming out demonstrators for the January 6th, 2021 protest against election fraud, as well as other gatherings that took place in DC in the run-up to the 2020 election and its aftermath.
In January of this year, he pled guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct related to the January 6th, 2021 demonstrations and was sentenced to 90 days of house arrest, plus probation. At the time of his sentencing, federal prosecutors with Biden’s Merrick Garland-led DOJ said that Straka had been “cooperative” and “helpful” in their investigation, providing them with “significant information.”

Additionally, Straka has been slammed by those who have taken issue with a number of social media posts he made on the day of the January 6th protest, including one in which he advised “Patriots at the Capitol” to “HOLD. THE. LINE!!!!” as they were teargassed and physically combatted by federal law enforcement, and another in which he boasted of seeing demonstrators “storming [the Capitol] from all sides” – something that never happened but has been a central theme of the far-left’s January 6th narrative.
Recently, a number of documents related to Straka’s case were leaked to the media. In them, it was revealed that Brandon Straka has been a prolific federal collaborator and that the authorities worried that if word of his cooperation got out, it would jeopardize their J6 investigation.
Among those Straka provided information and made accusations to the feds about were Stop the Steal rally organizer Ali Alexander, The Blaze’s Elijah Schaffer, and Dr. Simone Gold, of America’s Frontline Doctors.
According to the unsealed documents, Straka played a critical role in helping to put Dr. Gold in an actual jail cell. She is currently serving 60 days in federal prison on a January 6th trespassing charge.
“Straka has also provided information about an individual, Simone Gold,” the documents read. “The government has charged Gold in a felony indictment: United States v. Simone Gold.”
“Straka provided the government with voicemail messages that he received from Gold, whom he met in Washington on either January 5 or 6,” the documents go on to reveal. “The information contained in the voicemail messages is valuable in the government’s prosecution of Gold and may assist in a plea resolution of the Gold prosecution.”
