Amid reports of January 6 detainees being subject to torturous inhumane abuse including beatings, solitary confinement, and COVID-19 vaccination coercion in the D.C. Detention Center, audio released by American Greatness reveals the prisoners singing the Star-Spangled Banner in order to lift spirits and boost morale while they await their trials.
Exclusive audio released by American Greatness reveals the January 6 political prisoners sing the National Anthem to lift their spirits up and boost morale as they await their trials scheduled for sometime next year. “Detainees include Americans not accused of committing any violent crimes. Current detainees are a few members of the Oath Keepers; the alleged ‘attackers’ of Officer Brian Sicknick, and nonviolent offenders such as Timothy Hale-Cusanelli. The defendants have been transported to a special portion of the D.C. prison system used to house those charged with offenses related to January 6. Most were held in solitary confinement conditions, only allowed one hour out of a single-man cell one hour a day, for months until restrictions were recently loosened somewhat,” reads the report by American Greatness Senior Contributor Julie Kelly.
Inmates in the detention center are being coerced into receiving the COVID-19 vaccine to avoid abuses and COVID-19 restrictions that have been compared to the conditions seen in Guantanamo Bay. “This means that inmates who are not vaccinated are being held in ongoing inhumane lockdown conditions. This is a clear violation of the Nuremberg code, which prohibits testing medications on inmates, and prohibits the use of force or coercion in the use of medical experiments,” Suzzanne Monk told National File in June.
Conditions of the jail have been widely condemned due to the abuse and dystopian nature of the COVID-19 restrictions. Inmates were restricted from shaving, trimming their toenails, or getting a haircut, only to be provided with a chemical hair remover which many were unable or unwilling to use due to burning of the skin. Inmates were not allowed to receive visits from their lawyers and families, and were only allowed to contact them virtually or over the phone. They were restricted from library services, therefore having no access to reading material to pass the time while incarcerated. Inmates have had their trial dates extended for weeks and even months. Inmates’ lawyers have reported mental and verbal abuse, threats, and violent beatings that have left prisoners with permanent injuries.
According to a relative of one of the detainees, the political prisoners sing the National Anthem every night at 9 p.m. to “keep spirits up among men who have been in jail for months and may not have their day in court until sometime next year.”
National File confirmed undercover federal involvement during the events of January 6, as many experts speculate that the scope of the government’s covert infiltration of the pro-Trump crowd could be much wider than initially presumed. As was reported on July 14, federal law enforcement rounded up the entire Munn family, leaving just one young child parentless and without a family, for walking in the Capitol building through a broken window to observe the events unfolding there.
“Kristi Munn, Tom Munn, Dawn Munn, Josh Munn and Kayli Munn were arrested on Tuesday and are now facing four federal charges after it was revealed that they had entered the Capitol building on January 6 through a broken window, after traveling nearly 1,600 miles in a span of 24 hours in order to attend the protest,” reported National File. “The family had also brought an unidentified minor inside the building. The child has not faced charges, but remains parentless and without a family as a result of the arrests.”
