GOP Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy stood outside the Miami, Florida Courthouse on Tuesday and demanded that all GOP candidates sign his pledge that states they will pardon Donald Trump if elected. Polling shows Donald Trump is likely to win the GOP Nomination, however, many GOP voters are eager to see if any other GOP candidates sign Vivek’s pledge. National File reported on the harsh blowback Ron DeSantis received following his weak show of support towards Trump following Biden’sindictment of him.
Vivek told the press, “This is my commitment, on January 20th, 2025, if I’m elected the next U.S. president, to pardon Donald J. Trump…I have demanded that every other candidate in this race either sign this commitment to pardon…or else to explain why they are not”

Trump will win, but it’s good to know who has his back. Will DeSantis sign the pledge? pic.twitter.com/ixtr7NtgwO

Vivek’s pledge is much stronger than Ron DeSantis’ weak statement on Biden’s indictment of Trump that read, “The weaponization of federal law enforcement represents a mortal threat to a free society. We have for years witnessed an uneven application of the law depending upon political affiliation. Why so zealous in pursuing Trump yet so passive about Hillary or Hunter? The DeSantis administration will bring accountability to the DOJ, excise political bias and end weaponization once and for all.”

Worse, many of DeSantis’ surrogates are telling Trump supporters not to peacefully assemble outside the Miami Courthouse. This fact is odd because DeSantis is attempting to sell himself to GOP voters as someone who can protect their constitutional rights, if Governor DeSantis cannot protect GOP voters in his own state, how can he protect the constitutional rights of GOP voters nationally?
Ron DeSantis has yet to issue any indication that he will sign Vivek’s Pledge to pardon Trump.
Polling shows Trump continues to hold a massive lead in the GOP Primary.
