The Biden DOJ announced that Campaign violation charges filed against FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried have been dropped. NationalFile extensively covered FTX’s donations to Democrat and RINO Republican candidates in 2022. The dropped charges further signal that the United States is quickly spiraling into a banana republic.
Biden DOJ Attorney Damian Williams released a letter that stated Biden’s DOJ would be dropping campaign charges against Fried because the Bahamas would not extradite on the charges. The letter read, “The Government has been informed that The Bahamas notified the United States earlier today that The Bahamas did not intend to extradite the defendant on the campaign contributions count. Accordingly, in keeping with its treaty obligations to The Bahamas, the Government does not intend to proceed to trial on the campaign contributions count.”
If the United States government wants something, they usually get it. So why is the United States government allowing the Bahamas to boss them around? The answer may be because the uni-party benefited greatly from Bankman-Fried’s money in the 2022 election. If Bankman-Fried was tried on campaign violation charges, it could have been potentially damaging to many members of the United States Congress.
A Bankman-Fried trial could also be the final nail in Speaker McCarthy’s coffin. The McCarthy-Biden debt ceiling agreement shows McCarthy has a history of working with Democrats. It is entirely possible that McCarthy, Biden, and the rest of the uni party snuck in a secret deal to ensure Fried avoided prosecution.
Speaker McCarthy has been silent on the Biden DOJ’s decision to drop charges on Fried. This further escalates the possibility that McCarthy worked with Biden to ensure Bankman-Fried avoided prosecution.
Unsurprisingly, Majorie Taylor Greene, a staunch McCarthy supporter, is silent and has not joined the conservative outrage over Biden’s DOJ dropping charges against Fried. This further proves MTG is nothing but a MAGA fraud.
The Biden DOJ’s lack of action against Fried shows the United States continues down a dangerous road toward a banana republic.
