Ben Shapiro is threatening Americans with a nuclear war in Israel should the United States not back a total war against Hamas and provide Israel with what Shapiro considers to be enough material aid. If the United States does not continue subsidizing Israel, Shapiro predicts, Hezbollah will invade the nation from the north, prompting Iran and Syria to join in the fight and putting the world on the brink of nuclear war. Notably, Israel has long been known for its “Samson Option” a nuclear war battle plan that many believe has held the world at life-or-death ransom and has forced countries like the United States to devoutly support Israel, as the option would call for launching Israel’s entire nuclear arsenal as a last resort in the face of national defeat.
Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro, who has been blasted across the political spectrum for his war hawk posturing amid Israel’s fight with Hamas, said on his self-titled Ben Shapiro Show that the “real risk for Israel” right now is “not finishing off Hamas”. Not doing so, Shapiro explained, would be seen as a “sign of weakness” and would prompt Hezbollah to invade Israel from Lebanon.
“If Hezbollah gets in, Israel will have no choice but to unleash the Air Force,” Shapiro said. “If they unleash the Air Force they’re not going to be worried at that point about civilian casualties at all,” he added.
“They’re simply going to have to eviscerate the entire south of Lebanon.”
“If that happens, Iran undoubtedly gets in and so does Syria,” Shapiro went on to predict.
“If that happens and Israel is now faced with a full war in the north, combined with a war in the south because they will not have defeated Hamas, that’s the predicate. If Israel is forced to the wall, the possibility of nuclear exchange is extremely high. That is why it is very important the United States provide material aid to Israel.”

As mentioned, since the current fight between Israel and Hamas kicked off, Ben Shapiro has been blasted on all ends of the political spectrum for his hawkish behavior, with many accusing Shapiro of being more loyal to Israel than he is to the United States, and not hesitating to call on young American men to go die for a foreign nation that he’s not willing to do the same for.
This week, Shapiro went after journalists Jason Whitlock and Tucker Carlson, among others, for daring to question the benefits of America’s potential involvement in yet another Middle Eastern conflict. The potential U.S. involvement comes as another U.S.-backed war still rages in Ukraine and as America’s southern border sits undefended, under siege by illegal aliens, cartels, and international terrorists on a daily basis.
In a post made to X, Jason Whitlock responded to Shapiro, refusing to swallow the long-held, hawkish narrative surrounding Israel promoted in American media, writing that he’s suffering from “outrage fatigue” as yet another global crisis blitzes the news cycle, along with seemingly endless calls for America’s unwavering support.
“You are justifiably outraged about the events in Israel,” Whitlock wrote to Shapiro. “Just know that many people have become suspicious of public outrage. The powers that be have used it time and time again to fool us.”
Ben:
I had an epiphany while talking to Daniel Horowitz. Myself and others are suffering from “outrage fatigue.” That’s what triggered me and made me wonder if we’re being manipulated again.
