News broke Monday morning that Fox News has sent Tucker Carlson a cease and desist letter stemming from Tucker’s tweets. Fox still has Tucker Carlson under contract until 2024. Tucker’s legal team promises never to back down. Tucker will release another video on Twitter on Tuesday following Trump’s arrest.
Tucker Carlson’s attorney Harmeet K. Dhillon tweeted on Monday, “My friend and client @TuckerCarlson will not be silenced — by the far left or by Fox News. Scoop: Fox sends Tucker Carlson cease-and-desist letter.”

Dhillon went on to call on all GOP members of Congress and influencers to avoid appearances on Fox News, tweeting, “For all the members of Congress, culture warriors, ‘influencers,’ @GOP officials — do you really want to air your views on a network that spits on its viewers, leaks oppo on its own talent, and even threatens former talent for speaking, for free, on @Twitter?! You have free will!”

Fox hosts Brian Kilmeade and Lawrence Jones were the first anchors to fill Tucker’s hour on Fox. National File reported on Kilmeade’s love of Ron DeSantis and Jones’ past ties to the Obama political machine, as a campaign staffer. These facts have led many to believe that Ron DeSantis was a significant reason behind Tucker and Fox’s split. The fact that Fox is threatening Tucker a day before his next show on Trump’s arrest is only serving to further this assumption.
