The Associated Press used anonymous sources to insinuate that duly elected President Donald J. Trump was bullying a foreign leader to investigate Former Vice President Joe Biden and his son for corrupt business deals during the period of time of the Barack Obama administration.
The Democrat’s current impeachment hoax hinges on their claims that Trump was demanding a Quid Pro Quo to knock Biden out of the 2020 Presidential election. Biden is currently running in a crowded Democrat Primary.
Phone calls between the Ukraine leader happened in April and July of 2019, when the Democrats insist that Trump was demanding a government investigation into Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine, in exchange for US Military Aid.
The Associated Press admitted they are publishing anonymous gossip in October, attempting to shape the Impeachment narrative of frightened Ukraine leaders.
The AP wrote that they have no details of the calls between Zelinsky and Trump, that it isn’t clear that Trump asked for an investigation into either Biden at all, and the anonymous sources they were using, disagreed about what they were reporting on.
But they wrote the article anyway.
The LA Times was confident enough in the AP reporting to title their coverage of the AP material, “Ukrainian leader Zelensky felt pressured by Trump before taking office.”
“Volodymyr Zelensky gathered a small group of advisors on May 7 in the capital of Kyiv for a meeting that was supposed to be about his nation’s energy needs. Instead, the group spent most of the three-hour discussion talking about how to navigate the insistence from Trump and his personal lawyer, Rudolph W. Giuliani, for an investigation and how to avoid becoming entangled in the American elections, according to three people familiar with the details of the meeting.
The full details of what the two leaders discussed in that Easter Sunday phone call have never been publicly disclosed, and it is not clear whether Trump explicitly asked for an investigation of Biden and his son Hunter.
The three people’s recollections differ on whether Zelensky specifically cited that first call with Trump as the source of his unease.
They spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of the diplomatic sensitivity of the issue, which has roiled U.S.-Ukrainian relations.”
Perhaps the cover photo of Zelensky making air quotes was supposed to be a hint at the accuracy of the reporting by the Democrat allied media.
