During a Florida campaign rally on Friday, President Donald Trump quipped that the United States would never choose to elect a socialist President, especially if the socialist candidate in question was female. The remark has infuriated liberal activists with verified profiles on social media.
President Trump’s groundbreaking electoral victory in 2016 was seen as very unlikely at the time, especially since his opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton, was praised as a “strong woman” archetype who would break the infamous “glass ceiling” and become the first female President of the United States.
Since his election, President Trump has faced particularly vigorous opposition from a coterie of elected officials – often described by the President as “AOC Plus Three” that consists of House Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and other far-left socialist female politicians.
While many liberal cable pundits have eagerly floated the idea of a member of the “AOC Plus Three” contingent running for presidential office in future elections, President Trump was quick to scoff at the idea during a recent campaign rally in Florida.

“Look, we’re not gonna be a socialist nation, we’re not gonna have a socialist President, especially any female socialist President,” President Trump said. “We’re not gonna have it, we’re not gonna put up with it.”
The President has grown increasingly unfiltered in his campaign stump speeches as the country gets closer to the election on November 3.
During a rally in Arizona, President Trump described the cable channel CNN as “dumb bastards” for obsessively reporting on “COVID, COVID, COVID.”
President Donald Trump castigated CNN for the its obsessive COVID-19 pandemic coverage during a rally in Prescott, Arizona, referring to the network’s talking heads as “dumb bastards” in a clip that quickly went viral on social media.
“You know, your state is doing great, with a pandemic,” President Trump said. “Pandemic, they’re getting tired of the pandemic, aren’t they? Getting tired of the pandemic.”
The President went on reference CNN by name: “You turn on CNN, that’s all they cover. ‘COVID, COVID,, Pandemic, COVID, COVID, uhwahawa… You know why? They’re trying to talk everybody out of voting. People aren’t buying it, CNN, you dumb bastards, they’re not buying it.”
Liberal pundits on the social media platform Twitter have been quick to portray outrage at Friday’s “especially any female” remark, describing it as misogynistic.
