Downtown Washington, DC, looks like they are preparing for war and that wouldn’t be too much of an exaggeration. In anticipation of a win by President Trump on Tuesday, many of the businesses are boarding up their windows as if a Category 4 hurricane were about to descent onto the city.
The nation’s capital is not alone in this type of preparation. Every major city in the United States is taking some sort of precaution in anticipation of violence at the hands of the Black Lives Matter movement and Antifa.
In a telling video posted by Nigel Farage, the leader of the Brexit movement in the UK and a former member of the European Parliament, he shows us what a ghost town Washington DC has become.
In discussing why this is taking place, he broaches some ugly truths, including the fact that the radical, violent Left would most likely not be preparing for violence if they had confidence in a Biden victory on November 3, 2020.
Another point he makes is that Black Lives Matter is not about racial equality. The movement, he says, has been coopted by Marxists with an agenda.
“Black Lives Matter is a Marxist organization that wants to overthrow Capitalism,” Farage says in the video.
“In a democracy you have a strong debate. One side wins, one side loses, provided it’s all been fair and above board, you accept the result,” Farage continued. “And yet, what we now have got with the new radical Left is a belief that they and their views are morally superior to those on the conservative Right, and they are quite prepared – if they get a result they don’t like – to try to overturn it with violence.”

Washington, DC, Police Chief, Peter Newsham, said he is unaware of any “credible threats of violence” ahead of Election Day, but that the “entire” department will be on duty and time off will be restricted for several days following the election.
