While speaking at his massive Save America March rally in Washington, D.C., President Donald Trump added more pressure to Vice President Mike Pence, and asking him to act in accordance with the U.S. Constitution during today’s Electoral College challenge.
Speaking of a member of his legal team, President Trump said “John is one of the most brilliant lawyers in the country, and he looked at this and said, ‘What an absolute disgrace that this could be happening to our Constitution.'”
“Then he looked at Mike Pence, and I hope Mike is going to do the right thing. I hope so, I hope so. Because if Mike Pence does the right thing, we win the election.” President Trump added, “All he has to do.”
“This is from the number one or certainly one of the top Constitutional lawyers in our country. [Pence] has the absolute right to do it. He’s supposed to protect our country, support our country, support our Constitution, and protect our Constitution. States want to revote.”

Raiklin and Remy point out, though separate legal analyses, that Pence has the legal requirement, as outlined in the U.S. Constitution, to reject Electoral College votes that were not certified in the manner described in the U.S. Constitution: by state legislatures.
In virtually all battleground states, which are also plagued with credible accusations of widespread voter fraud, elections were changed by either fiat from the Executive Branch, or by consent decrees from various judges.
Should Pence “do the right thing” and reject these Electoral College votes, the House of Representatives, with one vote per state, would elect the next President.
