Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has ordered the state’s National Guard to withdraw from Washington, D.C. Friday morning, stating “they’re not Nancy Pelosi’s servants” and “this is a half-cocked mission at this point and I think the appropriate thing is to bring them home.”

The move comes after Democrat officials’ false claims that fabled “right-wing insurrectionists” planned to crash the Biden inauguration were thoroughly debunked, as menacing platoons of armed soldiers patrolled empty streets  secured by razor wire in the nation’s Capitol.

“Last night, I ordered our Adjutant General to bring Florida National Guard soldiers home from the National Capital Region,” DeSantis stated on Twitter.

The popular Florida governor went on to elaborate that he made the decision because “they’re soldiers, not Nancy Pelosi’s servants” and “this is a half-cocked mission at this point and I think the appropriate thing is to bring them home.”

The move follows a similar decision by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to pull the state National Guard out of the district:

Texas governor Greg Abbott announced Thursday night that he has ordered Texas National Guard Adjutant General Tracy R. Norris to pull the state National Guard out of the U.S. Capitol, lessening the threatening military presence installed by Democrat politicians in the district during the Joe Biden inauguration.

Abbott made the announcement in a tweet that read, “I have instructed General Norris to order the return of the Texas National Guard to our state. @TexasGuard.”

The military presence required by the Democrat Party during the installation of President Joe Biden was ultimately shunned by those who requested said presence in the first place, as the troops were ordered out of the heated halls of the Capitol and into cold parking garages.

President Donald Trump has offered to let National Guard troops stay at his luxury hotel in D.C. free of charge.
