Roger Stone, a political legend, and former advisor to Donald Trump, is going all in against Lindsey Graham in the 2026 South Carolina U.S. Senate Primary.
Stone had strong words for Graham, who mainstream media describes as “shape shifting,” and who is currently working behind the scenes to tether increased defense spending to an upcoming border funding bill.
“I don’t know why the president keeps him around. he is a fish-faced enemy of the people,” Stone said.
Stone is referring to the many public spats Lindsey Graham has had with President Trump.
Graham has often been at odds with Trump, and Trump has often responded in kind.
“[Lindsey Graham] is a fish-faced enemy of the people,” Stone continued.
CLOSING THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY IN SOUTH CAROLINA
Roger also discussed the prospects of South Carolina closing its primaries in order to keep Democrat voters from infiltrating the Republican Party to select the more liberal candidates to send to the general election
“The South Carolina primary is an open primary. That means that people of either party, or people who are in no party, are allowed to vote. Traditionally candidates like Lindsey Graham have survived, because hundreds of thousands of left-wing Democrats, realize that in South Carolina the Democrat nominee has little chance of winning a general election, cross over into the Republican primary to give us candidates like Lindsey Graham.
