Populist patriot J.R. Majewski won the Republican primary for the Ohio Ninth District U.S. congressional seat on Tuesday, scoring one of multiple important wins for the America First movement in May 3 primary elections. Majewski now squares off against Democrat congresswoman Marcy Kaptur in a highly competitive election in November.
As of press time, Majewski had reportedly gained approximately 35.8 percent of the vote and held a lead over his closest competitor Craig Riedel by more than 3,000 votes. Majewski rose to fame by turning his lawn into a painted promotion for President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign. Majewski will now run his campaign in the ninth district while J.D. Vance, a fellow populist America Firster, runs statewide for the U.S. Senate against Democrat Tim Ryan.
General Michael Flynn endorsed Majewski for Congress. General Flynn stated: “J.R. was born and raised right here in District Nine. He is a great American patriot. He’s also a veteran of the United States Air Force and a proven leader with a 20-year career in the energy industry. Simply an amazing guy. J.R. stands firmly with President Trump and will fight like a Flynn by putting America First always.”
He turned his lawn into a Trump 2020 sign.
