Ted Wheeler, the Democrat mayor of Portland, pepper sprayed an Antifa activist in a parking after becoming afraid of catching COVID from the harasser, who originally confronted Wheeler over not wearing a mask but was not wearing one himself while the pair engaged in a heated debate over who was better at following COVID regulations.
In the police report, written by Sergeant Peter Simpson, Wheeler claimed that he was confronted by a “middle-aged white male” while leaving a bar Sunday evening.
“He accused me of sitting in a restaurant without a mask,” Wheeler said. “In fact, I was in the tented area of a restaurant sitting at table, and I informed him the current Covid regulations allow people to take their mask off for the purpose of eating and drinking.”
Wheeler reportedly continued to argue with the cameraman about Covid rules, before stating that he became “imminently concerned for my personal safety” and “concerned about contracting Covid given that he was right in my face that he was not wearing a face mask.”
Antifa activists have a history of confronting and harrassing Wheeler in public, which strikes many Wheeler critics as ironic given that the he has repeatedly allowed Antifa and Black Lives Matter gangs to terrorize the local populace with little to no repercussions.
When the man refused to back away from Wheeler, the concern of contracting Covid reportedly became too much and the mayor pepper sprayed him in the eyes.
“I can’t believe you just pepper sprayed me,” the leftist paparazzo reportedly said.

Wheeler’s police department begged Antifa militants to stop vandalizing the local Democrat headquarters on the night of President Joe Biden’s inauguration, to which the gangs responded by scrawling “F**k Biden” near the building’s entrance.
