Now that Kamala Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff’s affair with his nanny during his previous marriage has been exposed, and Emhoff admitted to an affair, evidence is emerging that the mainstream news outlet POLITICO knew about the story and covered it up.
Let’s take a trip behind the scenes.
The Daily Beast recently quoted me regarding how the story came to be. The Daily Beast’s Lily Mae Lazarus reports:
“(Laura) Loomer also alleged that at least one mainstream news organization had prior knowledge of the story, but that the publication “decided to shelve the story to protect Kamala Harris.” Mendlovitz told the Daily Beast that conservative journalist Patrick Howley told him the same thing in 2020.
Howley, a reporter for Alex Jones’ news blog National File, declined to confirm or deny Mendlovitz’s claim, but claimed that, “Emhoff is the real power broker behind Kamala’s candidacy.” According to him, the allegations went unreported because “powerful men still get protected in D.C.”
So, which “mainstream news organization” is the Beast talking about, exactly?
In my conversation with reporter Lily Mae Lazarus, she made it clear that the Northern Virginia-based publication POLITICO is believed to have known about the scandal:
I have reached out to Politico and will update this story if they respond.
