Democrat President Joe Biden refused to answer questions from the White House press corps on Monday after returning from Camp David. Biden has not officially held a press conference in over two months.
Video footage shows Biden briskly striding away from questions, walking alone and behind some hedges.
The president’s actions drew partisan criticism from Republicans, with the official RNC account writing, “Joe Biden ignores questions from reporters as he returns from a weekend at Camp David. It’s been 69 days since his last press conference.”

Biden recently revealed that he only realized that meat prices have been soaring under his administration after a family friend let the news slip while sitting in the sunroom of his house.
“I was sitting in my kitchen yesterday, and here’s a sun room off the kitchen, and my wife was there with her sister and a good friend named Mary Ann,” Biden stated last week. “And she was saying, ‘Do you realize it’s over $5 for a pound of hamburger meat? $5?’”
The president continued, “Well, this is partly, you know, the pound of beef today costs five bucks compared to less than four bucks before the pandemic.”
“And here’s some historical context: Fifty years ago, ranchers got over 60 cents for every dollar a family spent on beef,” Biden added. “Today, they get about 39 cents. Fifty years ago, hog farmers got 40 to 50 cents for each dollar they spent. Today, it’s about 19 cents. And the big companies are making massive profits.”
