Nikki Haley lost in her category in Tuesday’s Nevada Republican presidential primary to an opponent on the ballot known as “None of these Candidates.”
Though Haley is the favorite of the neocon NeverTrump establishment, it looks like the former South Carolina governor simply does not have enough political capital to overcome the challenge posed by the “None of these Candidates” ballot option. Haley trails far behind President Donald Trump in the Republican primary race, but party powerbrokers are still clinging to the concept that Trump might have to drop out of the race due to the witch-hunt criminal cases against him. Clearly, the Republican voters do not blame Trump for his legal troubles. The American people are waking up to the Deep State’s shenanigans.
The Nevada primary is weird because President Donald Trump was not on the primary ballot. Instead, Trump is running in the separate Nevada caucus on Thursday. Nevada pretty much confused everyone this year with their weird process, which stems from various political disputes in the state.
Haley had a tough road to upset “None of these Candidates,” but she came up short. As of press time, “None of these Candidates” had close to 63 percent of the primary vote, with Haley in second place at less than 31 percent, with about 86 percent of precincts reporting.
“A bad night for Nikki Haley. Losing by almost 30 points in Nevada to ‘None of These Candidates,” President Donald Trump jeered on Truth Social. “Watch, she’ll soon claim Victory!”
Presideent Trump moves on to the South Carolina, where he is expected to defeat Haley again in a landslide.
