In an extremely awkward moment, Former Oklahoma member of Congress Jim Bridenstine told people at an Oklahoma Ron DeSantis event over the weekend that he and DeSantis would shower in the basement together. Bridenstine described their daily showers as a business meeting.
While speaking to the small crowd before DeSantis took the stage, former member of Congress Jim Bridenstine said, “Ron DeSantis lived in his office like I lived in my office, and together we would take a shower in the basement, and we had a daily meeting when we took showers in the basement… Am I allowed to say that?

Following Bridenstine’s remarks, the crowd did not know how to react. Many find it odd and concerning a man would brag about showering with another man. Some are now questioning Ron DeSantis’ sexuality. However, this was not the only awkward moment during DeSantis’ Oklahoma event.
Also, during the event, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt said, “Oklahoma loves Ron DeSantis!” However, the crowd barely clapped after Stitt made this statement. So Stitt said, “Can I get an amen, brother?” Many are comparing this moment to Jeb Bush’s please clap moment in 2016.

Trump noted Oklahoma Governor Stitt’s support of Ron DeSantis, writing on TruthSocial, “Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma, who I didn’t know very well, called me before his last election to say he was in BIG trouble and very much needed my Endorsement. I LOVE Oklahoma & won 77 out of 77 Counties, something that never happened before. Ronald Reagan was next with 56. Anyway, I gave him my endorsement, he immediately went way up and won. Now, despite the fact that DeSanctimonious is losing to Biden, & me, Stitt just endorsed him. Wow! He disliked “the Indians” & my great Senate pick!.”
As DeSantis continues to act more awkward on the campaign trail, many expect Trump’s large GOP Primary lead to grow even more massive.
