Virginia public schools today are staging “student walkouts” in protest of the pro-parental rights and anti-grooming guidance recently given to the state’s Department of Education by GOP Governor Glenn Youngkin, disallowing public schools from changing children’s names and pronouns without parental consent.
Under guidelines recently issued to the Virginia Department of Education by Governor Glenn Youngkin, who was catapulted into office amidst a statewide rejection of Democrats’ anti-parent policies, schools are not allowed to change children’s names or pronouns without parental consent.
The issue of stopping such “social transitions” from happening would have been considered a bi-partisan no-brainer just a few years ago but has become a hot topic in Virginia as of late, with pro-trans Democrats claiming that schools, not parents, should have the final say over children.
Youngkin’s move against the pro-trans grooming of kids comes on the heels of multiple instances of children being “socially transitioned” by their public schools, which enforce compliance with their radical pro-trans policies by suspending children who don’t go along with the process.
Virginia Democrats are suspected of working hand-in-hand with the far-left Virginia Education Association to stage the pro-groomer, anti-parental rights “student walkouts” at schools around Virginia. On the surface, the walkouts were organized by the Pride Liberation Project, which claims to be a “queer” and “student-run” organization. The group employs Communist symbolism on its website.
In a post made to Twitter featuring footage of several “student walkouts,” Democrats proclaimed that Governor Youngkin has “messed with the wrong generation.”

Largely, the walkouts have been confined to deep-blue Northern Virginia, where public school officials were caught covering up the trans bathroom rape of a teenage girl and employing a serial sex child offender as a school counselor with close access to kids.
If nothing else, the demonstrations have drawn national attention to Democrat and teachers union efforts to cement their anti-parent, anti-family agenda and seize control of children’s minds and bodies.
As online commenters have pointed out, like other “student walkouts” in demand of gun control and taxpayer-funded abortion, it is hard to believe that the demonstrations have played out organically, without the encouragement or direct aid of public school teachers and administrators. As usual, the schools are allowing the disruption to go on, as it advances a left-wing political cause.
Notably, as is seen in many “grassroots” left-wing demonstrations, some of the kids walking out of class were equipped with BLM/pride flags, signaling just how “astroturf” the entire operation appears to be.
