Democrat President Joe Biden refused to answer a question about Afghans falling from the sky after clinging to a U.S. C-17 this week because he believes the incident happened “four days ago, five days ago” and is therefore not relevant enough to discuss. Not only is Biden’s response strange because the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan is still the top trending news story in the world, but he is incorrect about the time: Afghans fell from the transport aircraft on Monday, just two days ago.
ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked Biden, “When you look at what happened over the last week, was it a failure of intelligence, planning, execution, or judgement?”

A visibly flustered Biden replied, “Look, I don’t think it was a fair – look, it was a simple choice, George. When they, when the Taliban – let me back up and put it another way. When you had the government of Afghanistan, the leader of that government, get into a plane and taking off and going to another country, when you saw the significant collapse of the Tali – of the Afghan troops we had trained, up to 300,000 of them just leaving their equipment and taking off, that was, you know, I’m not, that’s what happened. That was simply what happened.”
When pressed further about the pictures of Afghans who clung to a U.S. C-17 transport aircraft and later fell to their deaths during the regime’s bungled withdrawal, Biden incorrectly stated “That was four days ago, five days ago” in an attempt to dismiss the question. In reality, the events occurred just two days ago.
The keywords Resign, Articles of Impeachment, 25th Amendment, #ResignBiden, Trump Trump Trump, and White Rage – a nod to disgraced general Mark Milley’s obsession with reading academic racial literature – trended on Twitter this week, signifying the public’s disapproval of Biden’s foreign policy skills.
