As President Donald Trump left Walter Reed Medical Center on Monday at approximately 6:40 p.m., journalists asked how many of his staffers were sick and whether he considered himself a “super spreader.” President Trump did not reply, and instead waved, gave a thumbs up, and left the facility.
“Mr. President how many staff are sick? How many of your staff are sick,” the journalist insisted. “Do you think you might be a super spreader, Mr. President?”
President Trump proceeded to ignore the journalist, saying “Thank you very much, thanks,” delivering a thumbs up, and climbing into his motorcade.
Earlier today, National File reported that the president announced his plan to leave the hospital at 6:30 p.m. after first entering the hospital on Friday. National File reported:
“I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good!” President Trump said. “Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”
The President’s announcement confirmed earlier rumors that he would be released on Monday following reports of Marine One plus it decoy escort taking off in the direction of Walter Reed earlier in the morning.
The statement “Don’t be afraid of Covid” has already become a trending topic on Twitter, as pundits alternatively seethe over and praise the President’s repudiation of COVID-19 hysteria.

President Trump previously explained that he left the White House to be hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center because he wanted to continue working after his diagnosis.
