Virginia Governor Blackface Northam took to Twitter this morning following a night of riots in the capital city of Richmond and other corners of the Commonwealth to let the mobs in the streets know that he hears them, perpetuate Black Lives Matter lies about cops and race, and refuse to condemn the violence that unfolded in the city the night prior.
In Richmond, Confederate monuments were vandalized, and police cruisers, city busses, and businesses were vandalized, looted, and set aflame. According to Mayor Levar Stoney and Police Chief Will Smith, the riots came as part of an “organized effort” from outside groups – a complaint heard around the country as AntiFa and Black Lives Matter organizations have been accused of bussing rioters into cities nationwide.
Roughly 100 miles away, in the Northern Virginia City of Manassas, rioters, accompanied by “Democratic Socialist” State Delegate Lee Carter, threw bricks and bottles at passerby and police cars, injuring at least two police officers, and proceeded to cause damage to “several” local businesses. In response, police declared an unlawful assembly and dispersed the crowd with the use of tear gas and rubber bullets.
Parsing out pieces of a short statement released by his office, Northam told rioters nationwide and in the Commonwealth, “I acknowledge each of the voices crying out for justice and healing across the United States and in our Commonwealth…I know your pain is real.”
Perpetuating Black Lives Matter propaganda about race and police in America, Northam continued in his flurry of tweets to claim that “we have all seen too many people harassed, abused, and killed by law enforcement officers, in too many places, for too long – just for being black.”
We have all seen too many people harassed, abused, and killed by law enforcement officers, in too many places, for too long—just for being black. I also know that others are exploiting this pain and are now causing violence.

Northam made no condemnation of the Black Lives Matter and AntiFa-sponsored mobs traversing Virginia and the United States, but told Virginians that the National Guard has been activated to protect residents and businesses – “especially small and black-owned businesses,” giving credence to the calls of many involved in the rioting to attack and loot businesses specifically owned by whites and larger corporations.
Of course, Northam’s response to actual political violence coming from the left has been far more restrained than his response to the massive and peaceful Lobby Day demonstration against gun control and confiscation bills in Richmond earlier this year. As previously reported by National File, ahead of Lobby Day, Northam declared a state of emergency and accused attendees of being members of domestic terror organizations, ordering heavily militarized police into the capital city.
