Vivek Ramaswamy has alienated some of his America First supporters after a rift between President Donald Trump and his competitor Vivek in the Iowa caucus. Trump is expected to win Iowa in a landslide. Vivek has essentially “turned heel,” which is a professional wrestling term meaning that a previously well-liked wrestler has become a villain to the crowd.
“A vote for Vivek is a vote for the ‘other side’ — don’t get duped by this,” President Donald Trump said of Vivek, making it clear that Trump is acknowledging what insiders have known for quite a while — Vivek is trying to siphon off Trump’s support using his astroturfed conservative social media support. Trump is not having it.
Amid the melee, Vivek has been exposed in a disturbing video, in which he schemed to get a vote for himself by claiming that somehow voting for him would save Trump Vivek said “You want to save Trump you vote for me.”
That’s pretty intense grifting!
The response to Vivek has been pretty negative for the guy from the high-caste Brahmin family who got rich in the pharmaceutical sector owing to what The New York Times referred to as “hope and hype in the world of finance.”
