Virginia Democrat Representative Abigail Spanberger has announced she’s dropping out of an upcoming debate with Republican nominee Yesli Vega after one of Spanberger’s top Democrat supporters went public with her anti-parent LGBT agenda.
Spanberger (VA-7) has dropped out of her upcoming debate with Yesli Vega, which was slated for October 21st and was even set to be sponsored by the Democrat-friendly League of Women Voters. Spanberger’s drop-out comes just days after one of her top campaign surrogates, Democrat Delegate Elizabeth Guzman, announced that she’d crafted some of the most radical legislation in American history, moving to criminally charge parents who don’t “affirm” their kids as transgender.
A Democrat who votes with Joe Biden 100% of the time despite presenting herself as a moderate, Spanberger has been endorsed by the LGBT lobby and is facing serious backlash for campaigning with Elizabeth Guzman just last week.
While insane enough on its face, Guzman’s effort to criminalize parenthood compliments the plans of the radical Pride Liberation Project, which is working hand-in-hand with elected Virginia Democrats to stage “grassroots” LGBT demonstrations at children’s schools. The group publicly calls for kids to be “re-homed” should their parents reject the LGBT agenda and not “affirm” them, leading to credible accusations of child trafficking.
While Spanberger’s been quiet on the issue of dropping out of the debate, instead continuing to portray herself as a moderate on the internet and cable news, Yesli Vega came out hard against her in a press release made over the weekend.
“The reports of Abigail dropping out of this week’s debate are disappointing,” Vega, who’s been endorsed by Freedom Caucus Rep. Bob Good, said in the release. “Our campaign has been nothing but accommodating, literally agreeing to every Spanberger request without objection.”
“Abigail is scared to answer why she supports this extreme anti-parent agenda. Abigail Spanberger owes Virginia’s parents an answer. Does she support throwing parents in jail for not conforming to woke culture?”
“And when will Abigail rescind her top surrogate’s endorsement for her campaign?” added Vega. “She campaigned with her three days before her surrogate proposed radical legislation. Instead of standing up for Virginia parents, Abigail has apparently decided to run and hide until Election Day. Virginians deserve better.”

The bad campaign press related to Spanberger surrogate Elizabeth Guzman’s anti-parent agenda doesn’t mark the first time that National File has reported on Rep. Abigail Spanberger’s very questionable ties.
Earlier this year, she joined Joe Biden in Culpeper, Virginia for an event at a campus named for the Democrat donor family of a convicted pedophile and child sex trafficker.
