A middle school teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia has been arrested on child pornography charges and is now facing two felonies. 28-year-old Kristine Knizner, a science teacher at Irving Middle School, was arrested after police investigated a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, marking the latest sex abuse scandal to plague the school systems of deep blue Northern Virginia.

28-year-old science teacher Kristine Knizner was arrested in late May by detectives with the Fairfax County Police Department’s Major Crimes Bureau and Cyber and Child Exploitation Squad after she was found in possession of “child sex abuse material.” The investigation into Knizner began after police received an electronic tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children informing them that someone with a Fairfax County IP address was peddling child porn via Snapchat.

Investigators traced the IP address back to Kristine Knizner’s Springfield apartment and served her with a search warrant, finding her to be the dwelling’s only occupant and arresting her on the spot. Just hours later, she was released on an unsecured $2,000 bond by Fairfax County’s Soros-funded prosecutor, Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano, who has unilaterally decided not to enforce numerous laws in the deep blue jurisdiction.

While details regarding the contents of Knizner’s Snapchat account are scarce, officials say that none of the children being sexually abused were Irving Middle School students. According to Fairfax County Public Schools, Knizner is “currently on leave” as her child pornography case unfolds.

Detectives work for justice and oftentimes around the clock. Although an arrest was made—lots of follow-up work to do. Since February, detectives have received 124 CyberTips from the @MissingKids, like the one that led to this arrest. pic.twitter.com/3PP2kngsZF

The arrest of Kristine Knizner on child pornography charges is only the latest sexually charged scandal to plague Fairfax County and its neighboring Northern Virginia school districts. In recent weeks, Fairfax County Public Schools have been under fire over their plans to enforce radical, pro-trans name and pronoun policies on children, threatening to suspend or expel those who “misgender” or “deadname” their peers claiming to be of a gender at odds with their biological reality.

In neighboring Loudoun County, where the same pro-trans policies being rolled out in Fairfax have already been in place, a “gender-fluid” male student who donned a skirt and accessed the girls’ restroom was convicted of the serial rape of his female peers. When confronted by parents over the matter, Loudoun County officials engaged in a documented cover-up, leading Governor Glenn Youngkin to order an investigation into the county’s school board upon his taking office.
