Republican candidate for Congress Jarome Bell is calling for the resignation of Virginia Democrat and 1/6 Committee member Elaine Luria after an explosive report exposed her six-figure investments in a company linked to the Chinese Communist Party and flagged by the U.S. State Department over its role in the Communist regime’s military and espionage efforts.
The report exposes Democrat Elaine Luria’s investments in Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, which are valued between $250,000 and $500,000. The company’s board includes high-ranking members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and Alibaba has been flagged by the U.S. State Department over its aforementioned role in the totalitarian Communist regime’s military and espionage programs.
Alibaba has even been described as a “tool” of the CCP by the United States, which says the CCP uses Alibaba to aid in its mass surveillance and social control over its population.
In a press release, Republican House candidate Jarome Bell, the current front runner for the Republican Party’s 2022 nomination to Congress in Virginia’s 2nd District, called on the Democrat and 1/6 Committee member to resign from office over her apparent financial ties to the CCP.
“It is unacceptable for a sitting member of Congress to have dual loyalty,” Bell said highlighting the depth of her financial ties. “One loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party who controls her financial interests, and another, supposedly to the United States,” he continued, before questioning how someone with the hostile foreign ties of Elaine Luria can possibly be trusted to hold office, comparing her investments to treason.
“How can she be trusted to put America’s interests before the interests of the Communist Chinese?,” asked Bell. “This is as close to treason as it gets, and Elaine Luria should resign in disgrace.”
Bell went on to call for the United States Department of Justice to investigate Luria and questioned her role on Nancy Pelosi’s controversial January 6th Committee where Luria, a Chinese Communist-tied politician, is actually accusing American patriots of subverting their own country for exercising their First Amendment rights.
“Let’s get this straight,” said Bell. “Elaine Luria has been accusing patriotic Americans of subverting American democracy for exercising their First Amendment rights on January 6 — a foolish notion in the first place — while she herself subverts the United States with her investment in the Communist Chinese Party’s flagship company.”
“I wish I could say I was surprised, but I’m not,” Bell said. “This is exactly who the Democrats are. They are Communists and Communist sympathizers who hate America and hate patriotic Americans, and they support our foreign adversaries while those adversaries work to crush America.”
Bell echoed the sentiments of his press release in a video in which he spoke directly to voters in Virginia’s 2nd District and encouraged them to contact Luria with demands of her resignation.
“Representative Elaine Luria, our representative in the 2nd District, Democrat, is found to be linked to the Communist Party of China,” Bell said in the video.
“We can’t have our Congresspeople in bed with China,” he continued. “We need to demand, and I am demanding, that Elaine Luria resign her seat as the representative of the 2nd District or sell every bit of her stock in Alibaba. And I want you to do it too!” Bell told the voters.
“Call Elaine Luria, tell her to resign, tell her to step down, or tell her to sell all of her stock in the Chinese-owned company Alibaba immediately,” Bell continued. “Flood her phones right now. I’m calling for her to resign, I’m calling for her to step down, and I’m definitely calling for her to sell all those stocks.”
As recently reported by National File, Bell has led a hard-charging campaign against left-wing Democrats and the Republican establishment, accusing both groups of treason against America and the American people. In a recent radio interview, Bell vowed to bring back terms like “Communist” and “commie” in reference to the political left, “because that’s exactly what these Democrats are.”
While Bell has adopted a take no prisoners approach to his campaign and has based his platform on America First patriotism and conservatism, his establishment-backed primary race opponent, Jen Kiggans has done the opposite, repeatedly claiming that Joe Biden is the duly elected President of the United States and distancing herself from election integrity efforts.
Kiggans allied with Democrats on key issues including transgender bathrooms in school, and was even accused of plagiarizing Luria on the campaign trail, allegedly using portions of an op-ed written by Luria as her own campaign material. Kiggans recently flaunted a mermaid sculpture adorned with the phrase “Jen for Congress” that was produced by Luria’s craft shop, the Mermaid Factory.
