The reported mother of the 10-year-old Ohio girl who was raped and impregnated by an illegal alien, who has confessed to the heinous crime, defended the child rapist to Telemundo reporters who knocked on the door of their residence, telling the interviewer that Gerson Fuentes is innocent and that the 10-year-old girl “is fine.”
Illegal alien Gerson Fuentes has been arrested and charged in Franklin County, Ohio with the rape of a 10-year-old girl who became pregnant from the assault and reportedly traveled to Indiana to receive an abortion. ICE has confirmed that Fuentes is in the United States illegally and Franklin County is currently holding him in jail on a $2 million bond. He has reportedly confessed to raping the child multiple times.
News of the heinous child sex assault came shortly following the Supreme Court’s Roe decision and was leaked by an abortionist and vocal Roe proponent, Dr. Caitlin Bernard, who performed the procedure on the child. Bernard is currently under investigation for violating HIPPA privacy laws by leaking news and details of the procedure. She has been widely accused of doing so for strictly political purposes. Questions have also been raised as to whether or not she properly reported the procedure and the obvious sexual abuse of a child to authorities.
When Bernard leaked the information, it sparked a media storm that was quickly seized upon by abortion advocates, who have been blasted for caring more about exploiting the rape of a child for political gain than investigating the crime and arresting the child rapist.
Following the arrest of Gerson Fuentes, reporters with the Spanish-speaking news station Telemundo conducted an interview at the home of the victim, with a woman who confirms that she is the young girl’s mother.
“Did the girl live here as well?” Telemundo correspondent Maria Vargas-Pion asked through the slightly cracked door of what appears to be an apartment unit.
“Yes, but she’s fine,” the girl’s reported mother responded, before defending confessed child rapist Gerson Fuentes. “Everything that they’re saying against him is a lie,” she said.
“The woman, who refused to provide her name and who concealed her face, states that she has not filed charges against 27-year-old Gerson Fuentes,” who has been charged with rape by law enforcement, Vargas-Pion reported from outside the Franklin County Government Center.
“Per the authorities,” Vargas-Pion elaborated, “he confessed to having vaginal contact on at least two occasions with the girl who recently turned 10, therefore it is estimated that she may have been 9 years old when she was raped and became pregnant.”
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, who has blasted the left’s politicization of the rape, applauded the arrest of Gerson Fuentes when the news broke, saying that “if convicted, he should spend the rest of his life in prison.”
