Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot fired up a crowd of pro-abortion advocates when she screamed, “f**k Clarence Thomas!” during a recent pride event.
The Democrat Chicago mayor went on an obscenity-filled rant over the weekend where she promised not to “stand idly by” after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last Friday.
“So we know what happened in the Supreme Court yesterday. If you read Clarence Thomas’ concurrence…f*** Clarence Thomas,” yelled Lightfoot. “He thinks that we are going to stand idly by while they take our rights, our right to marry, our right to have children, our right to live,” she continued.

In Thomas’ concurrence, he suggested the court ought to reconsider “all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell.”
Griswold v. Connecticut granted citizens the “right to privacy” (allowed married couples to obtain contraceptives), Lawrence v. Texas gave the right to “seek autonomy” in their relationships (privately engage in consensual/sexual acts), and Obergefell v. Hodges led to the legalization of same-sex marriage.
The SCOTUS justice called for the concept of substantive due process to be thrown out so the Court could reconsider these cases. “The Court well explains why, under our substantive due process precedents, the purported right to abortion is not a form of ‘liberty’ protected by the Due Process Clause. Such a right is neither ‘deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition nor ‘implicit in the concept of ordered liberty.’”
“As I have previously explained, ‘substantive due process’ is an oxymoron that ‘lack[s] any basis in the Constitution.’,” he added.
After a SCOTUS draft opinion on Dobbs v. Jackson was leaked in May, Lightfoot responded with a violent call to action. The mayor encouraged LGBTQ supporters to arm themselves, claiming the SCOTUS is “coming for” them next.
“To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms,” she tweeted.
