The left-wing judge presiding over 45th President Trump’s New York civil fraud case posed and smiled for a close-up camera shot as court proceedings got underway. Trump appeared in court on Monday morning to face a lawsuit from Democrat New York Attorney General Leticia James – one of several politically charged persecution efforts he faces ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election.
While corporate media broadcast live from within the Manhattan courtroom, New York State Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron appeared to be quite taken himself, as from behind the bench, he removed his glasses and smiled for the cameras.
Engoron has been involved in the left-wing political scene since at least the 1960s when, according to him, he took part in “huge, sometimes boisterous, Vietnam War protests.”
In current times, it is well known that the anti-Vietnam War movement was controlled by communists and was used as a gateway movement to recruit often well-meaning Americans into supporting more radically left-wing causes.
The case against President Trump, which is civil, not criminal, has been brought by New York State Attorney General Leticia James, a partisan Democrat, and also names the 45th President’s sons and the Trump Organization, among others. James began investigating Trump immediately after taking office in 2019.
With no jury present, Engoron is ruling over the case single-handedly and, over the last three years, has been firmly on the side of the prosecution (persecution) team and has refused to accept a Court of Appeals ruling that nullified much of the case against Trump.

National Poll: Trump Drums Biden by 10 Points
Trump blasted Engoron and AG Letitia James in a post he made to Truth Social early this morning, writing that Engoron “refuses to accept our big win in the Court of Appeals, nullifying much of the case that the racist Attorney General of New York, Letitia James, has charged us with. Nobody can believe it!”
Additionally, President Trump has called for Engoron to be disbarred.
Though he wasn’t required to appear in person for Monday’s court proceedings, Trump says that he wanted to see the witch hunt first-hand.
