Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, who recently announced his 2024 presidential bid, issued a message criticizing former President Donald Trump over his priorities.
West, the world-famous rapper, called on Trump to start putting “God first in everything he does.”
“I’m always I’m constantly looking to see if someone could do the job better than me. I just haven’t found anybody yet. And I think that Trump would be a great president, but he’s got to put God first in everything he does,” the controversial rapper said of Trump’s leadership.
“God first. Then America,” West continued, before adding “then Israel” with a smirk.
Besides calling on Trump to adopt a more Christian-supporting leadership style, the rapper has also pressed the former president over his treatment of January 6th political prisoners.
In Ye’s campaign announcement video, West questioned why Trump did not “free the Jan. 6-ers” when he had the chance.
West has been all across the news cycles in recent weeks due to accusations of anti-semitism directed towards the rapper, his 2024 presidential bid, and a controversial dinner Ye had with Trump, Milo Yiannopoulos, and Nick Fuentes.

The high profile rapper and influencer appeared on Tim Pool’s podcast, a left-leaning political commentator to discuss his campaign before walking out mid-show, due to frustration.
After Ye described the relentless media attacks he’s faced recently, Pool agreed “the corporate press” had been unfair to him but would not echo Ye’s comments describing the press as Jewish which eventually led to Ye abruptly storming off set.
