Today Liberty Hangout’s Kaitlin Bennett confronted CNN Trump haranguer Jim Acosta for a second time, after he previously refused to disavow the violent Antifa riots that plagued most of 2020. This time, Bennett asked Acosta to disavow white supremacy, something he has repeatedly asked Republicans to do. Acosta refused.
“I caught up with CNN’s Acosta again and this time he refused to condemn WHITE SUPREMACY,” wrote Bennett on Twitter. “Just like he accused Trump of doing.”
“Jim, will you announce white supremacy? Will you denounce white supremacy, too?” asked Bennett. Acosta walked away, surrounded by handlers. “Let’s try this again,” said someone off camera. “Hey Jim, will you denounce white supremacy?”
Acosta kept walking, flanked by handlers and security, and did not answer. CPAC attendees, wearing masks under threat of physical removal, began to boo his presence.

Yesterday, Bennett asked Acosta to denounce the violent Antifa and Black Lives Matter riots that plagued 2020. Acosta refused, as National File reported:
Bennett then repeatedly urged Acosta to explicitly disavow BLM and Antifa riots. Instead of answering, Acosta’s handler, a woman of about Bennett’s height, began insisting that they had somewhere else to be and tried to walk out of the growing crowd.
“One last question,” Bennett tried again. “Will you disavow or denounce Antifa?” Acosta again refused to answer, and his handler quickly ushered him away.
Eventually, Acosta demurred, claiming that he already spoke with Bennett and would not answer her questions as a result.
It is worth noting that Bennett joked about Acosta only wearing one mask yesterday, saying she was surprised he wasn’t wearing two, as Anthony Fauci and the CDC began recommending in the last few weeks. Today, perhaps after hearing Bennett’s remarks, Acosta decided to wear two masks.
It is unclear why CPAC allowed the anti-Trump, sometimes anti-fact CNN personality to attend their conference. While Acosta is allowed to operate with impunity inside the CPAC venue, pro-Trump media personalities Austen “Fleccas” Fletcher and Rogan O’Handley were both unceremoniously kicked out of the Hyatt hotel in Orlando where CPAC is being held for the grave offense of briefly taking their face masks off to take photos with fans.
CPAC and the Hyatt is also requiring all attendees to travel with their papers or hotel key card on them at all times, and confirmed that “hotel management” and “law enforcement” would remove anyone from the property who did not constantly wear a mask and readily present their papers when asked.
