Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of sex trafficking earlier this year, said she believes the late Jeffrey Epstein was murdered while in prison.
Maxwell, speaking with Britain’s TalkTV in an interview that reportedly occurred following her June 2022 conviction, said, “I believe that he was murdered. I was shocked. Then I wondered how it had happened because as far as I was concerned, he was going to … I was sure he was going to appeal.”
“And I was sure he was covered under the non-prosecution agreement. But I wasn’t in the indictment. I wasn’t mentioned. I wasn’t even one of the co-conspirators,” Maxwell continued.
“I honestly wish I had never met him. “Looking back now, I probably wish I had stayed in England. But leaving that aside, you know, I tried to leave and start another new job and move on from the end of ’98, ’99,” she added.

US District Judge Alison Nathan handed down the sentence, stating that the length of time Maxwell will spend behind bars is “sufficient and no graver than necessary.”
Before her sentencing, Maxwell addressed the court and her victims, showing that she felt remorse. “I am sorry for the pain that you experienced. I hope my conviction and harsh incarceration brings you peace and finality.”
It has been documented that several high-profile people have associated with Maxwell and Epstein, but it remains a mystery as to who may have had inappropriate contact with any underage girls.
A ”little black book” of clients has been hidden from the legal process and the public, causing many to speculate about certain rich and powerful people who may have connections to Epstein and Maxwell.
