That the post is still available on Twitter is shocking. A best-selling author, left-wing activist, and ardent critic of Donald Trump’s presidency has called on his followers on Twitter to “form a citizen army” to stalk Trump supporters.
Radical-Leftist Don Winslow, posted a video on social media calling on people to become what he calls “cyber detectives” in an effort to report Trump supporters to authorities. Winslow, in a call to arms reminiscent of the Hitler Youth, compared the mission of his “army of citizens” to the efforts that led to the capture of Osama bin Laden.
“On January 20, Donald Trump will become the Commander-in-Chief of a different army,” Winslow’s video begins. The threat he goes on to describe emanates from “radical conservatives who live among us.”
“The greatest threat facing America today comes from within: radical extreme conservatives, also known as domestic terrorists. They’re hidden among us, disguised behind regular jobs. They are your children’s teachers. They work at supermarkets, malls, doctor’s offices, and many are police officers and soldiers.”
In the video, Winslow claims that former-President Trump will ignite a civil war now that he is out of office. He insists that ordinary citizens must “fight back.”
“In the years ahead, Trump will lead his army of domestic terrorists. He will encourage and incite violence. He will start a civil war,” the clip states.
“We have to fight back. In this new war, the battlefield has changes. Computers can be more valuable than guns. And this is what we need now more than ever: an army of citizen detectives,” the clip continues.

Winslow’s narrator then issues a call to arms similar to those made by Hitler in the run up to the establishment of the SS, Stalin during the Russian Revolution, and Mao in the Communist Chinese Revolution. the clip’s bold call.
“I’m proposing we form a citizen army,” he says. “Our weapons will be computers and cell phones. We who are monitoring extremists on the internet and reporting their findings to authorities.”
If this sounds eerily like the activities of the Hitler Youth, it’s because it mirrors their missions statement to a disturbing level.
The main objective of the Hitler Youth, who were indoctrinated in Nazi ideology, was to make sure the future of Nazi Germany was secure. They spied on their neighbors and reported perceived “threats” to authorities. They disrupted religious and ideological meetings and efforts of those who did not march lockstep to their ideology.
In fact, if a young man or woman didn’t belong to the Hitler Youth they most often were unable to find work and their version of high schools refused to issue the non-members diplomas, thus keeping them from higher education.
Winslow’s call to arms seeks to establish the same apparatus but using neo-Marxist Progressive tenets and dogma.
Outrageously, Winslow compares his “army of citizens” tasked with hunting down Trump supporters like Jews escaped from the Nazi ghettos, to the monitoring and discovery of Osama bin Laden.
“Remember, before the Navy SEALs killed Osama bin Laden he had to be found,” Winslow’s video clip continues. “He was found by a CIA analyst working on a computer thousands of miles away.”
The hashtag Winslow has established – “#TrumpsNewArmy” – has seen tens of thousands of tweets since.
