A video on social media connected to a Multicultural Student Center had a speaker make the claim that there were “too many white people” present.
In the clip, shows a speaker reportedly at the University of Virginia, making a public service announcement in which she tells the audience of the alleged racial imbalance.
She begins, “Excuse me, if you already know, this is an MSC (Multicultural Student Center), and frankly there is just too many white people in here, and this is a space for people of color.”
She continues, “So let’s be real cognizant of the space that you’re taking up, because it does make some of us POC uncomfortable when we see too many white people in here.
“It’s (the MSC) only be opened for four days, and frankly there’s a whole university for a lot of y’all to be at,” she explained, before finishing by saying, “there’s very few spaces for us, so keep that in mind. Thank you.”
Young America’s Foundation tweeted the video with the caption: “Leftists at the University of Virginia are dictating who is and who isn’t allowed in the new Multicultural Student Center.
“Frankly there is just too many white people in here, and this is a space for people of color,” the woman continues. “This kind of racist intolerance is NOT multicultural.”

The video was not well received by social media. Some complained about how it was driving “white supremacy”, while others queried the definition of multiculturalism.
One tweeter noted that the patrons seemed to have misunderstood the term “multicultural.”
Another chimed in, remarking, “Apparently multicultural means everyone but white people.”

A third wrote, “Multicultural center: open to all races! *Except the whites.”

In the run up to an election this year, the video is reminiscent of the antics seen at universities in 2015 before Trump’s election – which drew ample controversy and negative criticism, driving fence-sitters away from social justice narratives.
