During Tuesday night’s presidential debate, Joe Biden bragged about beating Bernie Sanders, but President Trump wittily shut him down.
The debate is currently ongoing at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, with President Trump facing off against former Vice President Joe Biden.
The debate started with a question on President Trump’s pick of Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to SCOTUS. However, Joe Biden shifted the debate towards healthcare, claiming President Trump wanted to destroy healthcare.
As Joe Biden talked about Medicare and Medicaid, President Trump jumped in. “Joe you agreed with Bernie Sanders, who is far left on the manifesto of socialised medicine,” President Trump argued.
“The fact of the matter is, I beat Bernie Sanders,” Biden shot back, but Trump was quick to respond as well.
“Not by much!” Trump replied. “If Pocahontas hadn’t left two days early, you would have lost every primary on Super Tuesday!” During the Democrat primaries, most of the candidates all dropped out in one go, and backed Biden, including Elizabeth Warrern (Pocahontas), and Pete Buttigieg.
“I got very lucky, and I’m going to get very lucky tonight as well!” Biden was forced to reply.
