A long-time ballot integrity expert noticed what he believed to be a suspicious anomaly in the vote count on Election Night so he called on the county election authority to both alert them to the issue and find out some answers. To his amazement they didn’t seem to care.
Garland Favorito is the co-founder of an organization called Voters Organized for Trusted Election Results in Georgia (VoteGA). The organization is focused on ballot integrity and affecting pure and untainted election results throughout the State of Georgia.
Favorito has been in the ballot integrity game for over 18 years, so when he noticed suspicious activity happening with the vote totals on Election Night he felt it a duty to investigate and find answers.
“I was watching the results on November the 6th in the early evening,” Favorito told NewsMax. “And I guess Trump had 133,000 in Fulton County. This is the largest county in Georgia. And Biden was showing 344 [thousand]. The next upload that was the last batch of absentee ballots, Biden’s total jumped up to 366 [thousand]. It went up 20,000, and Trump’s total went down a thousand.”
Favorito noted that he had never, in the course of his tenure as a ballot integrity advocate, seen a candidate’s vote total drop or his opponents explode by so much.
“Now I’ve been doing this for 18 years – election integrity, and I haven’t quite seen anything like this before. Not only did it go down, but the disparity is so great that there is no reasonable reason that could have possibly happened.”
Favorito said that he immediately contacted the supervisor of elections for Fulton County, Georgia – with whom he has a personal relationship, as well as the election board members and the county attorney, but after requesting information he has received no response.
“I explained this to them,” Favorito said. “I made an open records request for the interim results that they posted those several days for the election and I’ve gotten no response from them.”
As of Thursday November 12, 2020 – and according to the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office website, President Trump trails Joe Biden 49.24 percent to 49.52 percent, a difference of 0.28 percent.
