Video footage from Dallas, Texas shows a citizen turning the tables on an attempted carjacker after drawing a handgun, and keeping the suspect prone on the ground until police arrive. Violent crime rates have risen drastically in the U.S., and Democrat President Joe Biden’s response has been to threaten to take away the gun rights of law-abiding citizens.
In the footage, the citizen can be seen keeping his gun trained on the would-be carjacker, who lies prone in a strip mall parking lot. “I’m gonna put my gun down when they pull up,” the victim says, ostensibly referring to the police. “Imma put it down.”
The citizen continues, “Yeah, mane, he thought he was gonna jump in my car and pull out. And it’s a stick [shift], do you even drive stick?” When the police arrive, the man reveals that he has been talking to the 9-1-1 operator on the carjacker’s phone, and says he will return the phone to the thief now that uniformed officers are on the scene.

The footage comes amid a record-high violent crime wave that has left citizens and business owners grappling with how to best defend themselves. In a video reported on last week by National File, armed store owners in Dallas turned the tables on a violent attacker, beating the suspect while the attacker’s friends cried out for them to “chill”:
In the footage, filmed by someone who appears to be a friend of the attacker, the latter can be seen storming behind the counter while wearing pants emblazoned with the words “NO CAP,” and shoving one of the store employees. “Don’t disrespect me!” the attacker screams while struggling with and striking at another elderly proprietor. “F**k is wrong wit’ you!”
The mood quickly changes after the first victim returns to the counter with a silver handgun, prompting the attacker’s friend to cry out in alarm, “Don’t shoot her! Don’t shoot her!” The store staff then begin to get the best of the encounter, striking the assailant with counter punches to the stomach and head.
“Chill out, chill out, alright chill out, alright chill out,” the assailant who was unabashedly attacking the store owners only moments before pleads. “Aw man, that n***a got a pistol fam, they got a pistol, he got a pistol, that’s the only reason I ain’t gone back there yet,” the cameraman says, adding the threat “I know, I’m gonna get him when he come out, he got that gun right there fam.”
Joe Biden’s response to the crime wave has been to lie about the Second Amendment’s history, and agitate for gun control while musing about the government deploying F-15s and nuclear weapons against Americans.
